Do you need Static IPs?
If you run your own private business servers or cameras, or if you host games, web space etc, you would need a Static IP in order to access that server. A Static IP is also needed when VPNs are being set up and linked to your site. Static IPs make firewall rules easier to manage, so that remote private servers can be configured to only allow your IP to access it.
