Melita Telephony connects you directly with emergency police, fire and medical services by dialling 112. In case there is a power outage the equipment will not function until such time the power outage is restored. Customers can opt to purchase a cable modem with a battery back-up. This equipment provides customers with a minimum of 3 hours of standby-time. Melita Telephony does not provide a battery-back up modem as the standard equipment.
