Melita at The Bee Gees Tribute in Hal Ghaxaq

After the great success with the concert of Thomas Anders, the original singer of Modern Talking, St.  Joseph Band Club of Ghaxaq, in collaboration with Spektra promotions will be organising another nationwide concert at Ghaxaq grounds on Friday 22nd June from 20:00 onwards.

This time the special guests will be the Jive Talking Band which is one of the best UK Tribute Bands of The Bee Gees.  Less than one month after the demise of Robert Gibb, one of the members that formed this popular group of the 70’s, the organisers are going to hold another spectacular concert as a tribute to this so popular band.

The Group Jive Talking will pay tribute to the band The BEE GEES by featuring some of the group’s classic singles.  Hits will include Night Fever, Tragedy, Words, Staying Alive, To Love Somebody etc…

On behalf of the organisers, Marvic Abela, the President of  St.  Joseph Band Club Ghaxaq declared that only a month after the great success achieved with the Thomas Anders concert,  to which thousands of people were present, the club is going to do its utmost once again to offer another great concert to all those who will be attending.

The organisers are encouraging to all those attending to dress up in a style fitting the decade.  This will spice up more the event.  Mr Abela explained that however all those who wish to be present need  not to adhere to this dress code.

Once again the admission to this concert will be free of charge.  Nevertheless all those who turn up are encouraged to give a small donation that will go directly to Id-Dar tal-Providenza.  The organisers are assuring the public that even though it is a free event they will be doing their utmost to abide to rules to keep order during the event, as they always did in past occasions.

DJ Alex Grech will entertain the crowd before the Jive Talking performance.

Melita will be present during the event with special offers and gifts for all customers.
