Standard Entertainment Pack Bundle Terms & Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Standard Entertainment Pack Bundle (“the Bundle“) being provided to new or existing customers (“the Customer”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). By partaking in this Bundle, you are agreeing to all of these Terms and Conditions, without modification. For more information, please contact Customer Care on 27 270 270.

1. This Bundle will start from the 19th September 2012 and will continue thereafter unless and until the Bundle is terminated by Melita.
2. In order to benefit from the Bundle as outlined in these Terms and Conditions, the Customer agrees to enter into an agreement with Melita Limited for TV, Telephony Services and Internet services for a minimum Initial Term of twenty-four (24) months starting from the date of activation of the service. Customers, who are already subscribed to one or two services, may opt to switch to the Bundle subject to signing a new Agreement of a minimum Initial Term of 24 months. Customers who are already subscribed to the current Fibre Powered Home Entertainment Pack are not eligible for this new Entertainment Pack Bundle.
3. A Customer subscribed to the Bundle shall benefit from either:

A. (i) A Melita  TV subscription (M, L, XL)
(ii) Use of the Melita  Box;
(iii) An internet connection with 50Mbps download speed with a 3Mbps upload speed;
(iv) Use of the DOCSIS 3.0 Wi-Fi modem; and
(v) Telephony Service with

i.unlimited calls to all registered Melita fixed line numbers
ii. calls to all other local fixed line numbers at the rate of €0.03c per minute;
iii. calls to all local mobile numbers shall be charged at the rate of €0.23c per minute, charged on a per minute basis. With regard to international calls and premium rated services standard telephony charges shall apply.

OR

Customers who choose to pay an additional amount of €2.99 shall benefit from:

i. unlimited calls to all registered Melita fixed line numbers
ii. unlimited calls to all other local fixed line numbers;
iii. Calls to all local mobile numbers shall be charged at half price, at the rate of €0.115c per minute, charged on a per minute basis. With regard to international calls and premium rated services standard telephony charges shall apply.

Melita reserves the right to implement a call set-up charge of a maximum €0.035c for each fixed call made by the Customer, subject to prior reasonable notice to the Customer.

OR

Customers who choose to pay an additional amount of €5 per month shall benefit from:

i. unlimited calls to all registered Melita fixed line numbers
ii. unlimited calls to all other local fixed line numbers;
iii. unlimited calls to all other local mobile numbers. With regard to international calls and premium rated services standard telephony charges shall apply.

Upon the lapse of the 24 Month Term should the Customer retain this Agreement he will incur a charge of €7 on this Bundle.

B. (i) A Melita Digital TV subscription (M, L, XL)
(ii) Use of the Melita Box;
(iii) A 40Mbps Lite internet connection with a download speed of 40Mbps, an upload speed of 1Mbps and a Download Limit of 150GB OR 50Mbps  internet connection with an upload speed of 2Mbps and a Download Limit of 150GB
(iv) Telephony Service with:  

i. unlimited calls to all registered Melita fixed line numbers
ii. calls to all other local fixed line numbers at the rate of €0.03c per minute;
iii. calls to all local mobile numbers shall be charged at the rate of €0.23c per minute, charged on a per minute basis. With regard to international calls and premium rated services standard telephony charges shall apply.

OR

i. unlimited calls to all registered Melita fixed line numbers;
ii. unlimited calls to all other local fixed line numbers;
iii. Calls to all local mobile numbers shall be charged at the rate of €0.23c per minute, charged on a per minute basis. With regard to international calls and premium rated services standard telephony charges shall apply.

Melita reserves the right to implement a call set-up charge of a maximum €0.035c for each fixed call made by the Customer, subject to prior reasonable notice to the Customer.

4. All connection, delivery and/or installation charges, shall be at the Customers sole expense. All charges shall be due as of the date that the service is installed/activated.
5. Melita reserves the right to stop, suspend, amend or otherwise alter the Offer and these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice
6. The Bundle shall only be available on the same account and may not be transferred. Customer subscribed to this Bundle must remain subscribed to the TV, Telephony and Internet services throughout the Term. Disconnection or termination of any one of the services shall trigger either the Early Termination Fee outlined in the Agreement, which is signed upon installation of the services if the contract was entered into prior to the 19th November 2012, or if entered into post 19th November 2012 clause 10 of the Standard Terms and Conditions, signed upon installation, shall be applicable. Any benefits associated with the Bundle shall automatically terminate upon disconnection or termination of any one of the services.
7. Melita shall have the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving you 30 days’ written notice of such amendments and such amendments shall automatically become part of these Terms and Conditions at the end of the said notice period. If you do not accept any such amendments, you have the right to migrate on to a different package or terminate the service without incurring any penalty during the 30 day notice period. Your continued usage of our service beyond this notice period will be deemed your acceptance of the changes.
8. These Terms must be read in conjunction with the Standard Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions specific to a particular promotion or offer related to the Service.
