Mobile Plan in Flexi Bundle – 25/05/2022

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Mobile telephony service (“Service”) in the Flexi Bundle (“the Bundle “) being provided to customers (“the Customer”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). By partaking in the Bundle, you are agreeing to all of these Terms and Conditions. For more information, please contact Customer Care on 27270270, from your fixed or 100 (call is free) from your Melita Mobile number, or +356 77100100 from any other network.

  1. Customer subscribing to the Bundle may choose to subscribe to the Service for an extra monthly charge, depending on tariff chosen, by subscribing to one of the following:
    1. Top-Up Mobile Plan with 100 Melita minutes– Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay €10 for which he will be given a €10 top-up card and a monthly charge of €1 per each SIM card subscribed to shall apply. Customer shall then benefit from the following:
      1. One (1) SIM card or more depending on number of SIM cards subscribed to;
      2. 100 minutes to all Melita numbers per SIM card.

Customers will benefit from the 100 minutes as of the 1st day of each month, should a Customer subscribe after the 1st of the month he will receive 100 minutes on the 1st of the following month. Any unutilised minutes may be carried forward to the next month up to a maximum total of 200 minutes. Any additional minutes over and above the 200 minutes shall be lost. For all other usage standard mobile pre-paid rates shall apply. Customers subscribing to the Bundle may have a maximum of five (5) subscriptions to this tariff.
OR

  1. Flow1– Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay a monthly charge of €15.50 and benefit from the following:
    1. At the beginning of the month, an allowance is given which can be redeemed in either a maximum of 100 minutes to be used for calls to all other local fixed and mobile networks or a maximum of 1GB of mobile data. Customer may vary the use of the monthly allowance. Any unutilised allowance may be carried forward to the next month, for a maximum of two months, equivalent up to a maximum 200 minutes or 2GB. Any additional minutes over and above the 200 minutes or additional mobile data over and above the 2GB shall be lost;
    2. free calls to Melita network;
    3. 20GB WiFi data per month;

International call/SMS and premium calls/SMS are available only through the Customer’s own top-up. Customer may top up through a physical scratch card, MyMelita or by sending a free SMS to 16833. By sending an SMS to 16833 a €5 credit is given which will be charged on the bill of the following month.
Rates for calls, SMS and data applicable to this tariff, whether local, international or roaming outside of the EU, will be charged as published on the Melita website www.melita.com. Cost of Premium calls/SMS shall depend on the premium service. Access to premium calls/SMS is available only through the Customer’s own top-up.
OR

  1. Flow3– Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay a monthly charge of €20.50 and benefit from the following:
    1. At the beginning of the month, an allowance is given which can be redeemed in either a maximum of 300 minutes to be used for calls to all other local fixed and mobile networks or a maximum of 3GB of mobile data. Customer may vary the use of the monthly allowance. Any unutilised allowance may be carried forward to the next month, for a maximum of two months, equivalent up to a maximum 600 minutes or 6GB. Any additional minutes over and above the 600 minutes or additional mobile data over and above the 6GB shall be lost;
    2. free calls to Melita network;
    3. 20GB WiFi data per month;

International call/SMS and premium calls/SMS are available only through the Customer’s own top-up. Customer may top up through a physical scratch card, MyMelita or by sending a free SMS to 16833. By sending an SMS to 16833 a €5 credit is given which will be charged on the bill of the following month.
Rates for calls, SMS and data applicable to this tariff, whether local, international or roaming outside of the EU, will be charged as published on the Melita website www.melita.com. Cost of Premium calls/SMS shall depend on the premium service. Access to premium calls/SMS is available only through the Customer’s own top-up.

OR

  1. Flexi Surfer – Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay a monthly charge of €25.49 and benefit from the following:
    1. free calls to all local fixed line numbers;
    2. free calls to all local mobile line numbers;
    3. free SMS to local numbers;
    4. free calls and SMS to EU numbers whilst roaming in the EU;
    5. unlimited mobile data* at the maximum download speed of 4Mbps***  and up to 0.5Mbps in upload speed and;
    6. unlimited use of MelitaWiFi.

Roaming Fair Use Policy: As from 1st January 2024 Customers roaming within the EU for periodic travelling, shall be eligible to consume 33GB volume of data with Surfer Tariff**

OR

  1. Flexi Streamer – Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay a monthly charge of €30.99 and benefit from the following:
    1. free calls to all local fixed line numbers;
    2. free calls to all local mobile line numbers;
    3. free SMS to local numbers;
    4. free calls to all local mobile line numbers from Malta and EU;
    5. Unlimited calls and SMS to EU, Australia, Canada, China, USA numbers;
    6. unlimited mobile data* at the maximum download speed of 50Mbps and up to 5Mbps in upload speed***  and;
    7. unlimited use of MelitaWiFi.

* Roaming Fair Use Policy: As from 1st January 2024 Customers roaming within the EU for periodic travelling, shall be eligible to consume 38GB volume of data with Streamer Tariff**

OR

  1. Flexi Zoomer –  Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay a monthly charge of €32.49 shall benefit from:
    1. free calls to all local fixed line numbers;
    2. free calls to all local mobile line numbers;
    3. free SMS to local numbers from Malta and EU;
    4. free calls and SMS to EU numbers whilst roaming in the EU;
    5. Unlimited calls and SMS to EU, Australia, Canada, China, and USA numbers from Malta;
    6. unlimited mobile data* at the maximum download speed of 200Mbps and up to 20Mbps in upload speed; and
    7. unlimited use of MelitaWiFi.

* Roaming Fair Use Policy: As from 1st January 2024 Customers roaming within the EU for periodic travelling, shall be eligible to consume 40GB volume of data with Racer Tariff**

OR

  1. Flexi Racer – Customer shall upon subscribing to this tariff pay a monthly charge of €35.49 and benefit from the following:
    1. free calls to all local fixed line numbers;
    2. free calls to all local mobile line numbers;
    3. free SMS to local numbers;
    4. free calls and SMS to EU numbers whilst roaming in the EU;
    5. Unlimited calls and SMS to EU, Australia, Canada, China, USA numbers;
    6. unlimited mobile data* at 4.5G and 5G speeds***; and
    7. unlimited use of MelitaWiFi.

* Roaming Fair Use Policy: As from 1st January 2024 Customers roaming within the EU for periodic travelling, shall be eligible to consume 46GB volume of data with Racer Tariff**

** The above allowances apply for any given billing period. This volume allowance is calculated in line with EU law and shall be available to customers whilst roaming in the EU / EEA. Any data usage consumed over and above the GB roaming data allowance mentioned above shall be charged at the EU regulated surcharge rate. Any data usage above the domestic data allowance shall be charged at the standard domestic data tariff rate, with a surcharge. The surcharge is available here.  The volume of data allowance and the surcharge shall vary periodically in accordance with EU law. All international usage, maritime roaming usage and inflight roaming usage both within and outside the EU and roaming usage outside the EU are not included as Roam Like at Home Tariffs. These will be charged at the standard international and roaming rates found on our website. Customers subject to a Month-On-Month Charge, shall be eligible to consume a further 12GB volume of data, on a monthly basis whilst roaming in the EU & UK.

  1. Customers subscribing to the Service agree and accept to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which should be read in conjunction with Melita’s Standard Terms and Conditions which are provided to the Customer for signing, and any other applicable Terms and Conditions including the particular Bundle Terms and Conditions, a copy of which are available on Melita’s website.
  2. Customers subscribing to Flow1and/or Flow3 tariff who wish to terminate their Bundle may do so and retain the tariffs mentioned in this clause, however, any minutes, data and/or credit topped-up shall be lost. Unutilised credit topped up by the Customer on the Top-Up Mobile Plan with 100 Melita minutes, Flow1 and Flow3 shall only remain available to the Customer if he migrates on any other hybrid Tariff or downgrades to another prepaid plan.
  3. Should customers subscribing to Flexi Surfer, Flexi Streamer, Flexi Zoomer and Flexi Racer, terminate their Bundle they will be downgraded to the standalone Surfer,  Streamer, Zoomer and Racer Tariffs at the applicable monthly access fee of these Tariffs respectively.
  4. When subscribed to an unlimited service Melita will not limit your bandwidth or set monthly thresholds, your service will remain unlimited. Nevertheless, your use of the service is subject to your using it for private, personal and legitimate consumer purposes. You should not use the service in an illegal manner causing congestion and threats to the security of the network. Should such a situation arise Melita will not apply restrictions to your download capacity, but will first make reasonable efforts to contact you.
  5. Melita reserves the right to suspend, amend or otherwise alter the Bundle and these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving you 30 days’ written notice of such amendments and such amendments shall automatically become part of these Terms and Conditions at the end of the said notice period. If you do not accept any such amendments, you have the right to terminate the service without incurring any penalty during the 30 day notice period.

*** – These revised speeds shall commence on 18th May 2021 and apply for current and new Customers subscribed to these Tariffs.
