Traveller Prepaid eSIM Offer

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Traveller Prepaid Offer, (hereinafter referred to as “the Offer”) being provided to Melita pre-paid customers (“the Customer”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). Access to and use of the Offer is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using this Offer, the Customer accepts to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.   1. The Offer shall commence on the 22 February 2024 and will continue thereafter unless and until it is terminated by Melita.
  2. Subscription to the Offer is available to new Melita pre-paid Customers. The Offer is only available on eSIM (embedded Subscriber Identity Module).
  3. Customers subscribing to the Traveller Prepaid eSIM Offer may avail themselves of any of the following bundles:
    1. 3GB of mobile data valid for 10 days at a charge of €9.99
    2. 8GB of mobile data valid for 14 days at a charge of €19.99
    3. 20GB of mobile data valid for 25 days at a charge of €29.99
    4. 30GB of mobile data valid for 30 days at a charge of €39.99
  4. Data bundles can be used in Malta and whilst roaming in EU, UK,  Indonesia, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Switzerland, Thailand, Türkiye (Turkey), Tunisia, and the USA.  
  5. Default prepaid rates will apply for calls, SMS and out of bundle data usage in Malta and whilst roaming in EU, UK,  Indonesia, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Switzerland, Thailand, Türkiye (Turkey), Tunisia, and the USA.
  6. Rates for international calls and SMS, roaming in other countries not subject to Clause 5, premium calls and premium SMS will be charged as published on the Melita website.
  7. Calls, SMS and out of bundle data usage will be charged from topped up credit.
  8. To subscribe to any of these bundles, Customer shall subscribe through MyMelita.
  9. Following successful payment, Customer shall receive a confirmation text. Default rates apply for any usage made prior to the receipt of such confirmation. The full price of the bundle shall be charged in advance. The price of the bundle is not refundable either in whole or in part.
  10. Bundle Term starts on the date when usage of allowances is first made, and expires on the last day at midnight, Malta (CEST) time. Any unutilised benefits shall not be carried forward and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  11. Upon consumption of benefits or following the lapse of the Bundle Term, default prepaid rates of €0.05c/MB will apply.
  12. Customer may choose to repurchase the bundle prior to the lapse of the Bundle Term. New benefits will be assigned and any remaining benefits from previous bundle will be lost.
  13. Customers may switch between bundles. New benefits will be assigned and any remaining benefits from previous bundle will be lost.
  14. Other applicable rates shall be as published on the Melita website. All bundles include VAT and 4% excise tax, but exclude any other taxes. Default rates are inclusive of VAT but exclude any other taxes.
  15. Customers benefitting of this Offer may not avail of any other bundle or offer unless explicitly indicated above.
  16. Service will be automatically terminated following a consecutive period of 90 days with no chargeable activity. Any benefits or topped up credit will be lost and are not refundable.
  17. The quality and availability of service outside of Malta depends on the network capabilities of the roaming operator.
  18. These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with Melita’s Pre-paid top-up plan Terms and Conditions and with any other relevant terms and conditions. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions, then these Terms and Conditions shall apply.
  19. Melita reserves the right to suspend, amend or otherwise alter this Offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving you 30 days’ written notice of such amendments and such amendments shall automatically become part of these Terms and Conditions at the end of the said notice period. If you do not accept any such amendments, you have the right to migrate on to a different tariff plan or terminate the service.
