StellarWiFi is one of the options with our Flexi phone, TV and internet bundles. Flexi Bundles that include our fastest speeds in the internet packages include 2 StellarWiFi Pods. You can also add StellarWiFi Pods to our entry level Flexi internet bundles. StellarWiFi is a home mesh WiFi fee with no activation fee, no contract commitment – easy to start, easy to stop.
Routers have limited coverage and extenders can often improve the coverage but degrade the internet speed. StellarWiFi gives a much larger WiFi range – up to 185m2 – at high speeds. StellarWiFi uses TrueMesh technology to create a secure, powerful network that covers your home.
StellarWiFi spreads your WiFi bandwidth across devices. With eero 6 you can connect up to 75 devices, eero 7 connects up to 120 devices.
Although StellarWiFi is designed for residential homes, StellarWiFi will also work for small businesses.
You can get speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps when your StellarWiFi eero 7 Pod is connected with an ethernet cable to the modem and the device is connected to the StellarWiFi Pod, through an ethernet cable as well and up to 900 Mbps with your StellarWiFi eero 6 Pod. If your device is connecting to the StellarWiFi Pod over WiFi you can get speeds up to 1.8 Gbps with eero 7 and 500 Mbps with eero 6. You’ll get these speeds as long as your mobile, laptop or other device has the capacity for such speeds, which you can check on the manufacturer’s specs.
Yes, there are four age-appropriate templates: Pre-K, Pre-teen, teenager and Adult. Within each template you can also choose if you want to limit access to any Apps, such as TikTok or Youtube.
Yes, particular devices can be selected. So for example if your child is revising, you can choose to block an App like Instagram on their laptop to minimise distractions, but for study breaks they can keep access on their phone.
