Auto Top-up

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Auto Top Up functionality, (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) being provided to Melita pre-paid customers (“the Customer”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). Access to and use of the Service is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.   1. The Service shall commence on the 23rd of April 2024 and will continue thereafter unless and until it is terminated by Melita.
  2. Subscription to the Service is available to all new and existing Melita prepaid customers. Auto Top Up gives you the facility to top up one or more mobile numbers using either the same bank card or different ones, according to your preference.
  3. To make use of the Services, the customer must register for MyMelita and identify oneself using the correct details. You warrant that the information provided to Melita is your personal information and is complete and correct, and undertake to update any changes to your personal information through MyMelita without delay.
  4. By subscribing to this Service, automatic payments will be made from the bank card set up by the Customer, to top up the indicated Melita mobile number on the date selected by the Customer each month, or to automatically renew Pass bundles in the case of Pockit Customers.
  5. Customers subscribed to this Service may request to top up their mobile by sending an SMS to 16880 containing the desired amount to top up.
  6. Provided the bank card remains valid, automatic payments will continue until the Customer chooses to opt out of the Service. While the same bank card can be utilised for multiple mobile numbers, each requires its own subscription to the Service.
  7. Upon subscribing to the Service or whenever a change in bank card is done, Customer may be charged €0.01 as part of the verification process, which will be automatically reimbursed thereafter.
  8. In order to register for this Service, you will be requested to provide your bank card details securely through MyMelita. The bank card in use must have 3D secure enabled. By providing and submitting the bank card details requested, Customer acknowledges that the bank details provided are his/her own. Melita is not responsible for any unauthorized use. By subscribing to this Service, bank card information will be processed by Melita’s authorized payment gateway provider, in accordance with Melita’s Data Protection Notice.
  9. Melita will not be held responsible if Customer inserts incorrect top-up details or sets up incorrect top-up rules during registration or when amending top-up details.
  10. Receipts for top-ups made will be sent electronically to your MyMelita email address.
  11. Having a recurring payment method on account level is independent of this Service.
  12. These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with Melita’s Pre-paid top-up plan Terms and Conditions, the applicable Offer terms, and with any other relevant terms and conditions. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions, then these Terms and Conditions shall apply.
  13. Melita reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Service unilaterally without the need for informing you.
