Djuno Top-up Offer

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Djuno Top-up Offer, (hereinafter referred to as “the Offer”) being provided to Melita pre-paid customers (“the Customer”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). Access to and use of the Offer is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using this Offer, the Customer accepts to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.   1. The Offer shall commence on the 21st October 2020 and will continue thereafter unless and until it is terminated by Melita.
  2. Subscription to the Offer is available to all new and existing Melita pre-paid Customers having attained the age of fourteen (14) but are under twenty-nine (29) years, upon presentation of a valid Maltese Identity Card Document. Customers below the age of eighteen (18) years, shall be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians to one of Melita’s outlets for registration purposes. Upon reaching the age of twenty-nine (29) years, Customer will be automatically switched to the current default prepaid offer. Melita reserves the right to verify Customer’s identity and age from time to time and ask for supporting documentation, if found not in line with these eligibility requirements, Customer will be automatically switched to the current default prepaid offer.
  3. Only one Offer per Customer may be taken. Existing pre-paid Customers upon subscribing to this Offer may not revert back to their previous offer.
  4. Djuno Customers may subscribe to the following bundles:
    1. BigGig M bundle –  at an €8  charge  and for the next 30 days benefit from:
      1. 100 minutes towards all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU;
      2. 100 SMS to all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU;
      3. 5GB data in Malta and whilst in EU, at the maximum download speed of 200Mbps and up to 20Mbps in upload speed; and
      4. Unlimited use of MelitaWiFi in Malta.
    2. BigGig L bundle – at a €12  charge  and for the next 30 days benefit from:
      1. 100 minutes towards all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU;
      2. 100 SMS to all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU;
      3. 20GB data in Malta and whilst in EU, at the maximum download speed of 200Mbps and up to 20Mbps in upload speed; and
      4. Unlimited use of MelitaWiFi in Malta.
  1. To subscribe to either of these bundles, Customer shall send an SMS to 16860 containing the text ‘BigGig M’ or ‘BigGig L’, or visit MyMelita.
  2. Following verification by Melita that Customer has sufficient credit, Customer shall receive a confirmation text. Default rates apply for any usage made prior to the receipt of such confirmation. The full price of the bundle shall be deducted in advance from the Customer’s credit on account. The price of the bundle is not refundable either in whole or in part.
  3. The BigGig M and BigGig L bundles are valid for thirty (30) days from date of activation.
  4. Any unutilised benefits shall not be carried forward and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  5. Subject to sufficient credit on your account, the bundle will be automatically renewed every thirty (30) days. If you have insufficient credit on your account, the bundle will be removed, and default prepaid rates will apply.
  6. Customers may opt-out of this bundle by sending an SMS to 16852 containing the text ‘STOP’, or by visiting MyMelita. The bundle will not be renewed following the expiry of the thirty (30) days, and any unutilised benefits will be lost. Default prepaid rates will apply.
  7. Customer may choose to repurchase the bundle prior to the lapse of thirty (30) days. New benefits will be assigned and any remaining benefits from previous bundle will be lost.
  8. Customers subscribed to this Offer may purchase a supplementary bundle for unlimited data access in Malta and whilst in  EU at the charge of €2 by sending an SMS to 16860 containing the text ‘Endless’. Benefits will expire on midnight (CET) of same day. This bundle will not automatically renew after expiry.
  9. Customers may switch between BigGig M and BigGig L bundles. New benefits will be assigned and any remaining benefits from previous bundle will be lost.
  10. Other applicable rates shall be as published on the Melita website All charges deriving from this Offer include VAT and 4% excise tax, but exclude any other taxes.
  11. Customers benefitting of this Offer may not avail of the Internet and/or SMS Bundle unless as explicitly indicated above.
  12. These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with Melita’s Pre-paid top-up plan Terms and Conditions and with any other relevant terms and conditions. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions, then these Terms and Conditions shall apply.
  13. Fair Usage Policy: If, in the reasonable opinion of Melita, the Customer’s use of the Offer is excessive, Melita may ask the Customer to moderate his/her usage. If after Melita has informed the Customer to moderate his/her usage, the Customer fails to do so, Melita reserves the right to charge the Customer for the excessive element of his/her usage, suspend or terminate the Customer’s service or migrate him to the standard Pre-paid Top up plan. Furthermore, Melita reserves its right to suspend or terminate the Customer’s service if he/she abuses of the service and/or uses it in a way for which it is not intended.
  14. Melita reserves the right to suspend, amend or otherwise alter this Offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving you 30 days’ written notice of such amendments and such amendments shall automatically become part of these Terms and Conditions at the end of the said notice period. If you do not accept any such amendments, you have the right to migrate on to a different tariff plan or terminate the service.
