What’s the difference between VoWiFi and VoLTE?

Both help with clearer calls, as a Melita customer you can use both technologies. StellarVoice uses VoWiFi technology, meaning it connects seamlessly to any WiFi signal within reach – particularly good for making indoor calls.

On the other hand, VoLTE uses the mobile data network – 4G or 5G – to give you clearer calls.

What devices support VoWiFi?

VoWiFi calling works on iPhones and most recent Samsung phones. Other Samsung models and devices from other manufacturers will get WiFi calling soon via software upgrades. More information here.
