A professional car thief tries to make emends with his family after a short spell in prison for a robbery that goes wrong. On his first day as a free man he realizes that it is going to take him much more than good will to be forgiven, so he decides to exile himself from his family and live as an outcast on the remote island of Comino. However, his criminal past catches up with him and is forced to return to mainland Malta to be able to protect his family.
