What Is VoLTE?
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is a technology that enables high-quality voice calls over 4G or 5G networks. Unlike older systems that switch to 2G or 3G for calls, VoLTE allows you to talk and use mobile data simultaneously, offering clearer, more reliable audio—often referred to as “HD Voice.” It also provides significantly greater capacity, supporting up to 3× more traffic than 3G and 6× more than 2G GSM networks.
